 Nike Inc. has teamed up with gaming platform Roblox to create a virtual world called Nikeland, becoming one of the first major brands interested in the idea of a meta world. Via digital space, the avatars can be equipped with various company products and will be available for free to all users of the Roblox platform. Nikeland visitors can currently play several mini-games and create their own, using the interactive items available in the virtual space. The word "meta world" became popular in the tech industry after Facebook changed its name to Meta and announced its intention to create a virtual world within which people can interact through avatars, shop, enjoy music at concerts, etc.

"Nike has created this individual world created the patterns of its headquarters inside the three-dimensional virtual space Roblox, to combine sports and games and make them a way of life," stated Nike. In the future, the company intends to continue the development of its virtual world by adding new features and functions that make interaction with the meta-universe more diverse and exciting.
